African Diaspora Music & Dance Workshops
Mão de Pilão & Moving Spirits are offering free African diaspora music & dance workshops. Participants must be between the ages of 6-18 to attend. Saturdays from 12:00-2:00pm at the Aldersgate Retirement Center Program runs May 19-July 20, 2019

About the event
Come-Unity: Moving Spirits through music & dance in East Charlotte
Free workshops in African diaspora music and dance. Participants will learn to play Afro-Brazilian rhythms including Samba Reggae, Samba Afro,Barra Vento, Cabula,Vassi, Ilu, Agabi, etc.
*Participants must be between the ages of 6-18 to attend.
Saturdays from 12:00-2:00pm at the Aldersgate Retirement Center.
